Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the ancient art and science of using painless, ultra-fine needles to help regulate the flow of the body’s vital energy.

While Acupuncture is best known for its use in pain management, it is a complete system of medicine that has been used for thousands of years to successfully treat every known dis-ease.  Because dis-ease occurs when there is an imbalance in vital energies — and pain occurs when there is a blockage of these energies — Acupuncture works by helping to remove blockages and restore balance.

Toward this end, Dr Kreitzer specializes in using what are know as “Extraordinary Vessels,” which can be understood as the template out of which the physical and etheric bodies manifest. Using these vessels (otherwise known as the “eight extra channels” or “eight extra meridians”), a practitioner is able to facilitate positive healing changes on the constitutional level of the patient.

Of primary interest in the treatment of a great many conditions is the Dai Mai, or “Belt Channel.” This is an extra vessel that wraps around the waist, interconnecting with numerous primary and secondary vessels. Its primary function is to store post-natal pathogen – physical and psycho-emotional toxins – when situations in life become so overwhelming that the body-mind cannot process it all. This vessel is designed to act as a reservoir to store pathogen, so that later, when one is in a more para-sympathetic state, these toxins can be processed out of the system.

However, in our modern American lives, this vessel becomes so chronically deluged with pathogen that it ceases to function properly. It becomes engorged – unable to either release the toxins or to accommodate any more. Therefore, the treatment principle in the early treatment process for many clients is to help discharge pathogen from the Dai Mai. In so doing, one becomes lighter, energized, with a more positive outlook and a greatly reduced level of systemic pain.
